WE ARE STILL ALIVE!

Busy, Busy, BUSY! These are three words that describe my life lately. I'm trying to finish up on school, and it seems that things are waiting to the last minute to fall in place. However, I guess it usually happens that way anyway.

I had to hurry home this evening to turn the water off that I forgot on. It only watered the same spot for 8 hours. I was sick when I remembered that I left it on. We have to pay about the same amount for sewer as we pay for water. Our bill is going to be huge again this month. It does help that it has been raining alot lately, so we haven't had to water so much. Maybe it won't be too bad.

Zach has kept me on the discipline trail lately. He keeps me rather busy with all of the tantrums he has been throwing. I guess he is almost 2. He is going through the woeful 2's a little early.

Well, I guess I should go for the evening.

Wow!!

This has been one busy week. I am getting ready for school. Joel has been gone to Atlanta for a good part of the week. Yesterday he went to Dallas. Today he is back at his office. It is good to have him back at home.

Robbie is going to keep Zach for me today so I can get some work done at school. I hope to get everything done so that I can enjoy a few days at home before the big day.

Steve and Misty's youngest child, Sara, is having her tonsils out today. I hope all goes well for her today and during her recovery. Luke had his out a few weeks ago. He seemed to have had a good recovery. Ashlan, Marci and Jamie's oldest child, had her tonsils removed a few weeks ago also, and she didn't seem to have an easy recovery. Please remember little Sara and her mommy in your prayers today and through the next week or so.

Well, I guess I should go. I have to get moving around here.

School!!!

Well, today I am going to work at school! Robbie Vance offered to keep Zach for me, so I better take advantage of it. I tried to work awhile last week. It was new territory for Zach the Digger again. He dug in one thing after another. Needless to say, before I could get one thing cleaned up there was another one to clean up. It sure will make it nice for me to have a babysitter, and he sure loves his Aunt Robbie.

Joel is taking his guys from work out to eat tonight. I guess I will have a night on the town with Zach. Well, I don't know what we will do........maybe just rest. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

What a Relaxing Place!

Joel, Zachy, and I stayed at the neatest place while in Dallas. Joel reserved us a room at the Gaylord Convention Center in Grapevine. It was wonderful! I don't think I've ever stayed at such a relaxing place. In the center of the hotel is a beautifully landscaped indoor atrium.
It has neat exhibits that you can view while enjoying a cool temperature, and

yet feeling like you are outdoors. It was so relaxing.
Zachy enjoyed going outside....... If only he knew!
It would be a great place to go just to take pictures.
It has about 6 restaurants and several shops. Zachy got his first horse.
I think Zach loved the wateee more than anything else. He pulled on his shirt to go swimming a few times, and he tried his best to get in.
Here are my two handsome men. Zach enjoyed being with his most important person in the world----Dad!
Look! Look, Dad!
Well, I guess I need to be going. We are going to see the Isaac's in concert tonight. I need to get moving around here. I hope you all have a great evening. Jenny

Off! Off! Away!!!

Joel, Zach, and I are going to Dallas for a couple days. Joel has an auction tomorrow and invited me to go along with him. He took Wednesday off for some much needed rest.

Soon school will be starting so I'm going to take advantage of these little short get-aways. We have just 1 more month of summer.

Well, I guess I should go. I'll post again soon.

Hotttt! Hotttt! Hottt! ttttttttttttttt!

When I walked into the kitchen yesterday evening, I came around the corner to a sight similar to this one. The only difference was that the oven door was slightly open. "Hotttt! Hotttt! Hotttt!" He didn't want Mommy to get burned on the............... cold oven! Needless to say, I ran for the camera rather than the discipline manual. :)
Last night we celebrated Dad's birthday. Happy Birthday to a great Dad and PaPaw! We love you.
Well, I hope you all have a great day!
