I Pledge Allegiance!

This poor child has known nothing but school all of his life! So, if he is there when the pledges are said.....he thinks he should be able to hold a flag too! :)-----It doesn't matter that he is only 2!

A FUN DAY!

Well, today was a Zachy day! I took him to see his dad for lunch. He got to go around and pass out paychecks with his daddy. Then, we went to eat at Longhorn. You should have seen the tears when he had to leave Daddy!

He and I went to see the ducks, but they really didn't want to see us. They preferred swimming!

But, he had a great time playing at the park. We stayed about an hour, and he fell asleep on the way home. YEAH! That gave me the opportunity to sneak out back to work in the yard.

Here is a little clip of him at lunch! PaPaw doesn't have horses....and he knows it! :)

Best Buds! Well, Maybe Not!

Saturday night we kept Steve and Misty's kids. When Joel gets home, Zach likes to follow him to hang up his tie! They have a ritual that includes Zach sitting on the top shelf! Sara got in on some "Hop Shelf" fun!

Our Easter!

Saturday night, Zach and Dad dyed eggs.
What fun Zachy had. He ended up with not only dying the eggs, but giving himself a few blue polka dots on the face.
These are "Zachy's eggs"!
Here's a sleepy little boy who just found his Easter prizes!
This is "Zachy's Easter Basket!"
Sunday we had lunch at the Robinson's. Mom and Dad stopped for a pose.
Luke had a hard time deciding how he was going to fit into this pose.
Here's Zach and Dad.
I thought this was a cute picture of Hannah and Sara. Well, I hope you guys had a great Easter also.

Our Dallas Trip!

Joel loves southern gospel music so we made our way to Dallas to a Gaither concert.
We visited the Rainforest Cafe. Zachy was a little nervous this time when the animals moved and roared.
He was still a little anxious even in his dad's arms.
We enjoyed the beautiful scenery once again at the Gaylord in Dallas.
I enjoyed being able to spend some time with my family. Time passes so quickly, and sometimes we fail to slow down and enjoy life. I loved this picture. He was watching the trains probably thinking of Thomas.
Have a great weekend.

Spending Time With "Homas"!

What a great time we had with Thomas in Grapevine, Texas!
I don't "wan it"! I don't "want Homas bandaid".

Bertie the Bus was so special that having to share it caused great tears!

But, it was so MUCH fun just to get to look at "Homas" from the front and...
the side! Waiting in the line to get to go for the ride of our life was exciting!
Checking in with the conductor! We're not too sure we want to do this!
But oh the ride! What contentment knowing that "Homas" was taking us for a special ride on a special day!

Way to Go, Girls!

Last night, Ashlan, Hannah, and Lauran had their piano and violin recitals. Zachy and I went. Well, Zach slept through it. Ashlan was accompanied by a guest violinist, her mother.(not in this picture) Ashlan is such a hard worker and a great STUDENT!
Hannah waited her turn to get to play. Isn't she so beautiful?
Lauran was happy to be able to play. She said she was SO nervous, but she was not too nervous to smile for me!
After the recital, we all went to eat at El Chico for Sara's birthday. I can't believe Sara is 4 years old. I thought she was such an alert and beautiful baby. My how time passes!
Lauran did an awesome job playing a little tune with her teacher. She is such a sweet little girl with a great attitude!

My Bedroom!

Well, for Christmas, I wanted a different comforter to match
with the accents that I already had.
So my Mother-In- Law bought me this one. I really love it! Thanks Mom!
Later, she helped me find some curtains to match. I painted my metal decoration brown to coordinate better. I'm wanting to paint the wall behind my bed. Maybe someday!

I Help You, MOM!

There's nothing like having a working man around the house~especially a cute one that drives a John Deere Gator!
And there's nothing like having a little helper with chubby hands and working man shoes. "Bye, Mom! Bye!"

Happy Birthday!

Last night we had a great time with the Pannebakers celebrating Jay's birthday! We ate at TaMolly's and enjoyed some delicious....
Strawn's strawberry birthday pie. Jay looks like he's happy about being another year older!
Or Maybe not!
Well, anyway~Zach's not to worried about getting old yet. He has more important things to think about like talking to PAPAW!
