Growing Up!

I took Zach out yesterday to take a few pictures! However, he didn't cooperate the best! So, I decided to get some pictures in action---since he is always very much active! He is such a mess!
Well, we had a busy weekend. I worked out in the flowerbeds so that I could concentrate on getting my house decorated for Christmas this week. It is so hard to get everything done in the evenings of a regular school week! I'm going to see if Joel will get my tree set up tonight so that I can put away my fall decorations tomorrow and get started decorating for Christmas.
Joel, Zach and I are planning to go to DeRidder for Thanksgiving! I haven't been home since January. Well, I hope everyone has a great week! Jenny

Big dreams of being a firefighter are FUN to have when you are only one year old......
...but when you WORK ON A REAL FIRETRUCK AT TWO YEARS OLD.....you realize how big of a job being a firefighter really is!
Zach enjoyed seeing a firetruck in front of his mommy's favorite store---Hobby Lobby. Joel took him over to see it. He really thought he was big stuff looking at the firetruck.
Oh, by the way, Joel helped me pick out a nice Christmas tree (9 ft)! Now, the real job is getting the energy after a hard days work to put the fall stuff away and get out the Christmas things. Maybe it will happen soon.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

It's hard to believe that Joel and I have been married for 11 years. Where does time go? God has blessed me with a wonderful husband! Thanks Joel for being a wonderful husband and a great father to Zachy. So many people tell me what a jewel I got when I married you! I AGREE!
Thanks to Mark and Amanda for watching Zach so we could have an evening together! We had a wonderful anniversary! Thanks Joel for spending the day with us yesterday and for the great time that you and I had going out on a date last night!

Also, I'll never forget the last time I saw my nephew Blake. He told me "I love You!" as Joel and I drove away to our new life together. If only we had known that it would be the last time we would see him on this Earth. Blake was killed early the morning after our wedding at 15 years old. It's hard to believe that Blake has been gone 11 years today. We miss you Blake!

Don't tell Daddy!

This evening I came into the kitchen to find my son digging in the junk drawer. However, this time he was standing on his toy drawer. He had a pen and was just a writing like he didn't have a care in the world.

I used to be able to keep a pretty organized junk drawer. I wonder what in the world happened. Life sure changes when you have a little digger.

Well, I sure hope everything is going well for you guys. It is going fine here. Joel should be home in a few minutes. I am so proud that he left work close to his closing time. He deserves a big "Bravo, Bravo!"

Well, I guess I should go. Have a great evening.

Hold 'Em Up, Cowboy!

Pow, Pow! Bang, Bang! I'm sure ready for some candy, Partner!Let's go! I'm ready to round up me some candy. So off to four or five neighbors we stampede.

Wow! Look at all this loot I found. If only I could have some right now!
Let's see! This is not real cowboy grub, but it sure looks good to me!
"Ont purple, Mom!" We cowboys do like purple lolipops.
Whew! I sure am worn out! I don't know how those ole' cowboys make it. I guess a little taste of lip stuff helps relax a worn out cowboy.
Well, I planned to have Zachy dressed up to hand out candy to trick or treaters. However, this year we didn't have as many trick or treaters as we did last year. So, Zach and I went to a few of our neighbors. He really had a good time getting treats.
Later, we went to Joel's Uncle Tim's birthday party. We really had a good time. I'm sorry that I didn't get any pictures.
Well, I hope you guys have a great day! I have two little boys to watch. Alex spent the night with Zach. All went great and we all got a good night of rest! Whew!
