Greetings from the Hamper!

I hope all is well for you guys. It is for us. That is ------everything but the laundry. In fact I need to be putting some in the dryer right now.
I had a busy day today. I watched Hannah, Luke, and Sara while Misty had some dental work done. I really enjoyed being with them. Later, Debbie, Michael, and the kids dropped by for a few hours. We had a nice visit.
Well, I guess I better be off to getting the floors cleaned and laundry in the dryer. Have a great evening. Jenny

My new Roooster!

I got this little rooster in Hot Springs at a little shop that I thought was a grocery store. Mom and I thought it was cute.
I really didn't plan to use so many roosters in my kitchen. I planned on using a little of everything. For some reason, roosters catch my eye. I guess it is the country girl in me.
I have also redone my hall bathroom recently. I'll try to post a picture of it soon. Well, I guess I'll go. I need to be out of here in a few minutes. Have a great day.

GREETINGS FROM......

Hot Springs, Arkansas! Well, not really! We're home now. The whole Robinson/Eguia clan enjoyed vacationing together! Some are still there and plan to return home on Friday. We had to come home because Joel had to be back to work!
Look how excited Luke is to answer PaPaw's questions during a devotional. Jamie also gave a good object lesson on how we can change our surroundings when we are under pressure.
Everyone enjoyed a fun hike together even though it was rather hot.
Here is Pops and PaPaw with all of their younger grandchildren. As you can see Zach hiked on his PaPaw's shoulders or....
his DAD's! He was such a good little sport for being out on such a hot day!
After hiking, the kids got to play on some nice equipment at a park in Hot Springs Village. Zach liked climbing in the tunnel.
His buddy, Alex, learned how to climb the rope.
Swimming was an important part of this trip. I believe that the kids went swimming every day. Here Zach is in his orange swim suit. As soon as he got to the lake, he headed into the water toward his Pops. He fell face first into the water because of the way this suit fit him. He didn't seemed to be bothered. He loves the "wateeee"!
Look at this handsome guy----all ready for a new day!
Well, I guess it was another day of swimming. Hannah really enjoyed her swim.
And so did Zach in his blue swim suit. It seemed to do better than the orange one. However, it wasn't the answer to his fussiness.
We cooled off on the bench. Zach shared some of Alex's chips.
Later that evening we all got together to grill hamburgers. Joel and Dad waited in line to fix their burgers. Look they even smiled especially for me.
Well, we had a great time. I kind of wish we could have stayed longer. But, All good things must come to an end......And so must this Post. I'll post again soon.

IMPORTANT GUESTS!

Well, Joel, Zach, and I really enjoyed having our family from Alabama and Illinois come to visit for a few days. Heidi enjoyed thinking about the great memories of Uncle Joel's socks. I'm sure if they would have stayed longer she would have probably been treated to another pair.
Zachy enjoyed having his baby cousin, Jordynn, here also. It's hard to believe that he was that small just a short time ago.

Thanks Rhonda, Jessica, Lanna, and Heidi for coming! I sure wish we could have spent more time together. Too bad that time changes things, and that I have lost my three girls. I love you all.
Well, I guess I should go. I have plenty that needs to be done. I'll post again soon.

Books, books, books!

Because teaching is my profession, I really feel it is important that kids read books, books, and more books. Zach and I checked out his first library books yesterday.
Today he had fun listening to them and looking at them himself.

Just a minute ago, when he saw the books on the computer screen, he said---"Books! Airplane." I guess he is learning.
I hope you all have a great day!

Our 4th of July!!!

Joel, Zach, and I got up and had breakfast together. We then went out to work in the yard. Zach helped his daddy mow by riding on the mower with him. He cooled off by playing in the sprinkler. What fun he had!
The Robinson clan went fishing at a stocked pond. What fun everyone had catching fish after fish at such a beautiful place!

When Zach got to the pond, he went ahead and stripped down to his diaper. He was ready to take a splish splash.

MMMMM! Zach understands now why fish l0ve worms!

Joel and.....

Ashlan enjoyed catching fish. (I didn't get there in time to get pictures of everyone fishing.)We then headed back to Dad and Mom Robinsons to grill steaks......

and have homemade icecream. Zach wanted some of PaPaw's icecream....but it was ALL GONE!

We went outside to wait for it get dark.....so we could see FIREWORKS! Do you think Marci bought Alex some boots with plenty of growing room?

Watching the fireworks and lighting sparklers was fun for everyone.....especially the kids. I hope your 4th was great also!

SUMMER DAYS!!

Every day before we leave, Zach has to stock up his pockets with money. This time he found an i-pod to use as a phone.

He sure loves to talk on the phone. He's kind of like his Dad---says a whole lot and ends up really saying NOTHING!:)
Esther Pannebaker had all the toddlers over for a BUG party. Zach really had fun.

He had fun taking all the bugs off for Mommy to put back on his craft.

Zach's cousin, Sara, had fun at the party too. Thanks Esther for sharing your time with us.
Well, I hope you all have a great day.
