In February--I was wearing some Big SHOES!
In March...I was worn out!

Now that the days of Christmas are over, I don't really have much to post about! The presents are opened...MeMe is gone home....The family gatherings are beginning to slow down.....Life is beginning to be somewhat normal again.....Loneliness is beginning to set in....Zach and I don't feel the best in the world......and my oven is still broken.
All of the comments are in! Thank you for all your posts. It was fun to hear from each of you!
The name has been drawn.......
That's right! It is Brittany Fogleman. Brittany, please email me your address. My address is jennifershrv@aol.com. Congratulations!
Saturday was Mom's birthday. We all got together at my house for a party Sunday for lunch! (All 18 of us) We had gumbo, rice, potato salad, pear salad, cheese ball and crackers, french bread, and Joel's boudin balls with special dips. Joel got a grand idea that he wanted to make boudin balls late Saturday night. So off to Wal-Mart he went. Needless to say, he was up to 3 AM making them.
Here is the birthday lady with her date......What a nice looking couple!
PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES! We took tons of family pictures. Here is one of MeMe and her great grandchildren in Shreveport. We are so glad to have MeMe here for Christmas! (This is the best picture of them I had.....Afterall, there are 7 kids just a wiggling!)
AND FOR THE 100TH POST....I'd like to hear from all of you guys who stop by our blog! Be sure to leave a comment on this post about a favorite type of ornament you collect or enjoy. Zach will choose one of your names. We will go shop for one that we think you will enjoy for many years to come!
This is a special ornament to me! It reminds me each year of the last Christmas that I had with my mother. Although she was very ill, she came to stay with me several times during the Christmas season that year! I cherish the memories that I had with her that Christmas. She will soon be gone 5 years! I miss you, Mom!
I made Joel a cheese roll this week to compensate for the chili that he doesn't really care for. I was really hungry for some chili so I decided to make it for myself. He endures it as long as I make a cheese roll to go along with it. However, I made taco meat this time. He had tacos and cheese log instead.
