While in Hot Springs, my mother-in-law and I went shopping. She showed me this platter that was 90% off. It was chipped in about 3 or 4 places around the edges. She said that I could just shade it in with a black marker. (I wasn't exactly sure how it would look.) I got home and shaded the chips with a black and tan marker. You can't even tell (unless you know) that it was broken.
So,I kind of like my $59.99 platter! I wouldn't have ever paid that price or 1/2 of that price! :) Thanks Mom! I should have bought the bowl as well.
